Curious about starting a PSC club? The PSC has a talented group of undergraduate students who would love to engage with your K-12 students. If you are curious about starting a PSC club, our undergrads will deliver an interactive presentation on radio astronomy and and pulsars that utilize slides, videos, and animations. Presentations can be held in a classroom or assembly setting. A screen or blank wall and an electrical outlet are necessary for all presentations. Schools/ organizations may need to also provide projectors and/or audio speakers.
The show lasts approximately 45 minutes, with an optional hands-on activity that gets kids actually interacting with pulsar data!
What if we don’t have a presenter in your area? No problem. We can connect by Zoom or Skype!
For established PSC Clubs: We’d like to visit with you too! Our students can deliver the Invisible Universe presentation help with pulsar concepts and data analysis, or chat about college life and STEM majors! Let us know what you need!
