Rogue Gallery

The plots on this page are a gallery of known noise and interference. Don’t be fooled by plots with these periods–the subplots can look a lot like pulsar candidates! 1086 ms and its harmonic 543 ms are a source of interference that has been popping up. It’s very bright and pulsar-like in the pulse profile, time domain, and subband plots, but be sure to check the DM curve. Remember that something at zero is RFI! 543 ms (and periods very close to that) are harmonics of the known 1086 ms RFI. Watch out for them!
